AIRCRAFT COMMAND (AC) 
This 2 or 3-day course prepares pilots for the responsibility of aircraft command in a commercial or business environment. It focuses on all the new areas of knowledge and judgment required to be a successful aircraft commander. Emphasis is on scenarios and case studies where the student must make decisions based on complex problems. This is covered using group interaction and timeframes similar to what a Captain will experience during normal line flying.

Decision Making (DM), leadership, followership, communication, use of SOPs, conflict resolution and team building are all part of the course curriculum.

The Aircraft Command Course has been developed by the President of Aerosolutions who has been an aircraft commander for many years. It is offered in Ottawa on demand and can be provided at your location on request. There is a pre-course assignment on IFR Rules and Procedures and regulations, as well as preparation of a brief student presentation.
Price: $1,000CAD plus 13% HST per student for courses in Ottawa. Students associated with an MPL or integrated ATPL course at Ottawa Aviation Services (OAS) may get a discounted price. Contact OAS for more information.

The Aircraft Command Course is normally offered at your requested location and pricing is dependent on travel and facility issues. However, the minimum fee is $3,500CAD plus expenses for a 2-day course.
