PRESS RELEASE:Ottawa Aviation Services & Aerosolutions partner to offer a suite of advanced professional pilot training courses such as Type Ratings and Approved Check Pilot.

Wednesday November 2nd 2011 - Ottawa Aviation Services

Ottawa Aviation Services (OAS) and Aerosolutions announce their partnership expanding the OAS advanced training capacity with a series of professional new courses and workshops.

The advanced training programs include Multi-Crew Coordination and Crew Resource Management, Threat and Error Management, Automation, Aircraft Command, Type Rating Instructor, Jet Transition, Approved Check Pilot and Type Ratings.

OAS is a nimble, forward-looking Canadian aviation company continually aiming to find, develop and integrate modern best practices and excellence in flight training while keeping traditional "stick and rudder" training at the core of the value proposition.

Since 1995, Aerosolutions has delivered advanced pilot training and consulting services to some of the largest aviation organizations in Canada including Transport Canada, Air Canada and many other airlines. "With Aerosolutions, OAS is now able to offer additional value-added training for ab-initio students and operators in Canada and internationally. This partnership was a no brainer considering the quality of the instruction provided by Aerosolutions and the experience of their instructors", said Cedric Paillard, CEO of Ottawa Aviation Services. "With the additional training available through this new offering, operators can rely on OAS graduates to contribute immediately and cost efficiently to their new employer's operation ", added Paillard.

Aerosolutions President and A320 Check Captain David Holland elaborated on the partnership: "Our plan is to integrate Aerosolutions advanced training courses into OAS's already well designed Professional Pilot Program and their newly announced Integrated ATPL. We also expect that, as they move through their career, pilots will want to maintain their proficiency through on-going and future training with Aerosolutions and OAS".

This new Aerosolutions/OAS partnership advances OAS training aims, by using a real world approach to learning, and providing ab-initio students and already licensed professional pilots with a rich set of aviation experiences to complement their training.

As an approved training provider, Aerosolutions offers the ACP/TRE Course on behalf of Transport Canada.
